Develop a daily schedule and routine
Our children thrive off a daily routine as well as a reward system to keep them moving and motivated throughout the day. When developing a schedule, include things like cues and start times for activities, daily living skills and physical breaks. Below is a sample of what a schedule may look like. However, everyone’s schedules will look different depending on what is manageable at home. Your schedule does not have to be perfect – the point is to provide structure for you and your child.
